Extended Hours and New Programs at Virginia Village Branch Library
So much is happening at Virginia Village Branch Library! Here are updates and a preview of upcoming events. Learn more at denverlibrary.org. We’ve extended our hours on Tuesdays - now staying open until 8 p.m. Our hours: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 10-6; Tuesday 10-8, Friday and Saturday 10-5.
New Programs:
Family Storytime: We’ve added Family Storytime each Thursday at 10:30: Stories, songs, rhymes and fun for kids ages 0-5 years and their grown ups. It joins Baby Storytime for Birth-18 months on Wednesdays at 10:30 and Toddler Storytime on Fridays at 10:30.
Plaza: Now at Virginia Village! Visit this open community space where immigrants from all over the world connect with resources. English, citizenship, crafts, and more. Saturdays from 2:30-4:30.
Arabic Storytime: First Saturday of each month at 10:30: stories, songs, rhymes and fun in Arabic. Ideal for children in birth-10 years old and their caregivers.

Special Collections and Archives Asian American History Showcase | May 15, 3:30-5:30 PM
Interact with facsimiles of photographs, correspondence, and documents from Denver’s history.
Coming this Summer!
The library is hosting all kinds of fun events this summer during Denver Public Library’s Summer of Adventure program, which runs June 1 - Aug. 10.
