In the last issue of the Cook Park News, we reported on the pending updates to the playground and pathways around Cook Park. Below is an update on timeline and scope. Renderings and more information can be found at denvergov.org.

• Existing asphalt pathways will be replaced with concrete from the north parking lot to the concrete near the northwest bridge, and from the playground to the intersection with the north-south path that runs between the Rec Center and the rugby field.

• The Cook Park playground and pathways construction is now scheduled to begin in early 2023 (weather permitting) with an anticipated completion in the late summer/fall of 2023.
